Ms. Chesney is a seasoned educator with a diverse career spanning two decades.  Before joining Acushnet in 2021, she held several roles, including elementary classroom teacher, reading specialist, lead teacher, and assistant principal. With her Wilson Reading certification and M.Ed in Literacy, Ms. Chesney has a special interest in developing schoolwide literacy and ensuring that all students can read. Leah's overarching goal is to empower her outstanding staff by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in their roles. With over 25 years of experience in local communities and overseas, Leah has deep roots in the educational landscape and is known for her work ethic and leadership skills.

Ms. Pasetto is an accomplished education professional with over two decades of experience, With nearly 20 years of administrative roles under her belt, including principal, assistant principal, math director, and math teacher in school districts across New Bedford, Westport, and New Jersey, she brings a wealth of expertise to the field of education. She also brings her passion for helping young minds navigate the intricacies of math, fostering their growth and understanding.  Ms. Pasetto is pursuing her doctorate in educational law, a testament to her unwavering commitment to education.
